The New Foxy Casino

We have long been aware that slots and table games are becoming more popular with online bingo players. Dedicated slots sites are now almost as common as the online bingo sites. Foxy Bingo is the latest brand to harness this trend with the launch of foxycasino.com.
There was a soft launch of the product on mobile browsers in January, but now Foxy Casino will be available on all channels including desktop, mobile browser and iOS app.
Foxy casino launch

To ensure that the full launch was a success, Foxy invited lots of his celebrity friends to a pop-up sweet shop and speed dating event in London just before Easter. Among the attendees were Amy Childs from TOWIE and Simon Webbe from Blue and latterly Strictly Come Dancing.
There is also a new TV advert that takes its theme from the funfair backdrop of the Foxy Bingo brand, but takes it into the night, more in keeping with the casino theme.

Foxy Casino features roulette, blackjack and a live dealer casino, but the slots are the stars of the show. Big names like Millionaire Genie and Rainbow Riches feature, alongside bingo site stalwarts such as Fluffy Favourites and Sugar Train.
Daniel Mahon, head of marketing, said: “In bringing a defined casino offer to the market, we wanted to ensure we drew on the popularity of Foxy and leveraged the recognition and trust the UK’s leading bingo brand has in such a crowded marketplace.
“We have made a commitment to being mobile first and we are proud to be launching one of the richest mobile casino products out there.”

£10 free no deposit offer

New players that sign up to Foxy Casino will be welcomed with a £10 no deposit bonus plus deposit bonuses worth up to £1,500 over the first four deposits made. The bonus pain on the first deposit is 200% up to £500.
Foxy Bingo may always have been known at the fun bingo brand, but when it comes to offering what players want in the correct surroundings, the fox takes the responsibility very seriously.

Eyes down for a line: Increasing numbers of bingo halls testing positive for cocaine amid fears growing numbers of pensioners are turning to the drug
Out of 17 bingo halls tested, seven revealed traces of cocaine in toilets
One, in Bristol, even tested positive for dangerous variant crack cocaine
Figures show spike in OAPs receiving hospital treatment for drug abuse

Bingo hall toilets have tested positive for traces of Class A drugs amid evidence that an increasing number of pensioners are turning to hard drugs in retirement.
Out of 17 bingo halls tested seven showed traces of cocaine, while another had traces of crack cocaine, a more dangerous form of the drug that is smoked, a newspaper investigation revealed.
While the venues do let players as young as 18 in, the majority of attendees are elderly, and the discoveries mirror a spike in OAPs being treated for drug abuse.

Bingo Calls

Catch up on more bingo lingo by checking out the bingo lingo for all the bingo balls. Not all bingo calls are used and there are local variations. Bingo calls are frequently used in 90 ball bingo games. Bingo calls it would seem are a purely quaint British thing. 'Legs Eleven' followed by wolf whistles and 'Two Little Ducks' followed by quack quack's conjure up images of Butlin holiday camps Hi-de-Hi style.
However, bingo calling is important to the game so much so in 2003 Butlins revamped their calling schedule to include J Lo's Bum (71), Gareth Gates (8) and Ali G (30) (The BBC).
If you'd like to hear these calls in action in a real bingo game, head off to Jackpotjoy or watch the clip below.
